My third finished Fairy Warrior ACEO drawing (it's No. 4 of the series, since I sketched No. 3 earlier this week but felt like drawing this one first :aww:).

Looks like a very interesting card game! I love the details on the bird and the little faerie on it looks cute. Good work!
Thanks so much! :aww:

It's really fun drawing in that playing card scale of ACEOs. So I thought why not draw ON real playing cards? ;-)

Yeah, that's an awesome idea!
I did something similar with some friends a few years back; we took a regular deck of cards from a poker game and changed the whole symbol set (Spades, Hearts etc) into armies of creatures. It took us two weeks to redraw the whole deck but poker has never been more interesting! XD
:D

Hehe, sounds cool! Do you show your deck somewhere online?

No, it was on a regular deck and everything was drawn traditionally; painted the cards over with acrylics, then drew the creatures with black and red ink.
:)
Too bad. Hehe that sounds like some work. I'm painting the cards over with acrylics for my kitten series. They need several layers of primer until the pattern doesn't shine through anymore.

That's a nice one. I love the way the bird and rider are both looking off to the horizon.

Thank you! :D

Hehe, I imagine them as scouts on their watch. Or maybe they are hunters ... ? :aww:

An adorable picture, I love how the pose gives it such a feel of speed.
