This is my unconventional self-portrait for the current contest of 
- a last-minute entry. (And it's the first freshly drawn picture that I upload to DA at all!) 
All details have a deeper meaning, but I am too tired to explain now. Maybe it's better not to explain anyway - this is not the most pleasent me that I chose to depict here. But it's a strong me, maybe the one that drives me most, thus it was the aspect I chose for this portrait.
I tried a somewhat anime-ish look for myself here. What do you think?

Edit: Having won a major fight with my scanner today, I just uploaded an improved version. You can see the shading much better now. I really like how this drawing turned out. Maybe I am going to colour it and use it as my DA-ID.
