Sad and beautiful, isn't it? I like this one very much! I almost sold it once during an amateur-exhibition in my hometown, but the woman said, though she thought it to be very beautiful she could never take it into her flat because it was so sad! Looking back I am incredibly glad not to have lost it that day!
Anyway, I am thinking about repainting this in acrylics, since the original has become very dark due to my attempts of fixating the soft pastels drawing. Once repainted, I would love to hang this piece into my own flat.
Beautiful! I love the view. I´m so bad at perspective. Those trees are great too, makes it look like there´s a whole forest behind them. And I think you chose the colors well: they strengthen the sad atmosphere of the drawing. I like it very much!

Oh my, that must be an even more sad experience than seeing the whole picture at once! I have never thought about the effect of scrolling this down before.

Thank you very much! The colours are somewhat unintentional, though. They darkened a lot when I tried to fixate this drawing by a fixation spray. But I guess you are right. Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
